January 17 – Mount Saint Joseph University Alumni Invitational

Reception on February 17, 4:00 – 7:00, Studio San Guiseppe Art Gallery

February and March – Courtroom sketches completed for the Larry Householder trial.

Commissioned by Spectrum News. The trial was held at the Potter Stewart US Federal Court House in Cincinnati, Ohio.

March 9 – Mysteries From Above

A documentary featured on the Smithsonian channel included the painting titled “Winter Solstice Celebration.” Mysteries from Above Documentary.

June 16 and 17 – Birds Gone Wild, opening reception on June 16, 6:00 – 9:00 pm

This art exhibition/fundraiser benefits RAPTOR INC, www.raptorinc.org
The event features the work of 12 Masterworks for Nature Artists. On June 17th, from 10:00am – 4:00pm, the artists will sketch several birds of prey from life. Sketches will be auctioned off online and 100% of sales will benefit the rehab and education programs of RAPTOR INC. Eisele Gallery, at 6936 Madisonville Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, will be hosting the event.

2022

February 7 – Presentation to the Duveneck Society at the Cincinnati Art Museum, 2:00pm

Mary Louise Holt will present new information about the up-coming UNESCO World Heritage Site inscription of eight ancient Native American earthworks. All are located in the state of Ohio. Two of her original paintings are on permanent exhibit at the Fort Ancient Museum, one of the future World Heritage Sites.

June 25 – Cincinnati Nature Center’s “Noteworthy Natives” Garden Tour, 9:00am – 5:00pm

The artist’s garden will be the featured garden on the tour and the artist’s studio will be open to the public..

July 8 – Bird’s Eye View at the Eisele Gallery, opening reception – 6:00-8:00pm

Mary Louise Holt is one of several Cincinnati artists invited to participate in this exhibit to celebrate birds of all kinds. Eisele Gallery is located at 6936 Madisonville Road, Cincinnati, Ohio.

2021

January 11 – The Native American Cultural Center Opens in Mariemont

Several prints of original paintings of Shawnee life are on permanent display at the center as well as many Native American artifacts from the Madisonville Burial Site. Location of NACC: 6907 Wooster Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227

My recent painting titled: A Wary Old Bird was selected for inclusion in the AFC exhibit held at the Congress/AFC Festival.
Also included is my latest painting titled Mangrove Finch, Galapagos.  It will be one of 678 paintings depicting endangered birds from around the world and will be  included in the Silent Skies Collaborative Mural Project.

This new DVD coming soon –  featuring the history of Fort Ancient Earthworks. Featuring  paintings by Mary Louise Holt “See Cover“ Fort Ancient has been officially selected for the Archaeology Channel International Film Festival in May. It has also been selected for the Arkhaios Film Festival.
